Travis Scott and Nike are taking their longtime partnership onto the tennis court with a new “Cactus Court” collection, a US Open-inspired release that blends Cactus Jack’s signature streetwear aesthetic with performance tennis footwear and apparel.

The collection received a high-profile debut at the 2026 US Open, where tennis star Carlos Alcaraz stepped onto the court wearing pieces from the collaboration during his first-round match against Roman Safiullin. Alcaraz wore a coordinated Cactus Jack x Nike look, including a pale ivory and cacao brown version of the Nike Zoom Vapor 12 featuring Travis Scott’s recognizable reverse Swoosh design.

The appearance was especially notable because it marked Alcaraz’s return to singles competition after spending more than four months sidelined by a right wrist injury. The defending US Open champion defeated Safiullin in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, while reporting that his wrist felt pain-free during the match.

Alongside the performance-focused Zoom Vapor 12, the Cactus Court collection also includes a special Nike Air Force 1 Low “Ice Blue.” The sneaker takes the familiar Air Force 1 silhouette and gives it a more distinctive appearance with a predominantly blue color scheme and ostrich-textured material replacing the shoe’s traditional smooth leather construction.

Nike previewed the Air Force 1 through promotional content featuring Alcaraz, further connecting the sneaker release to the tennis star and the US Open. The campaign helps bring together three different worlds—Travis Scott’s influence in music and streetwear, Nike’s sneaker heritage, and Alcaraz’s position as one of tennis’ biggest stars.

The Zoom Vapor 12 takes the collaboration in a different direction. Rather than focusing solely on lifestyle footwear, Travis Scott and Nike have applied Cactus Jack branding to a legitimate performance tennis model. The retail design incorporates the pale ivory and cacao color palette along with Scott’s reverse Swoosh, giving the technical tennis shoe a recognizable Cactus Jack identity.

According to HotNewHipHop, the Cactus Court Air Force 1 Low is expected to retail for $120, while the Zoom Vapor 12 is listed at $170, with a broader Cactus Jack release scheduled for September 4. The collection also includes apparel designed to complement the footwear.

Fans in New York were given an early opportunity to experience the collaboration through a special Nike pop-up at 47 Chrystie Street, which is scheduled to operate through September 4. Both sneaker models were made available through the location ahead of the wider collection release.

Alcaraz’s actual match-worn Vapor 12 reportedly differs slightly from the pair expected to reach consumers. Nike modified the sole setup of his competition version to meet his specific performance needs, separating the professional on-court model from the general retail release.

The Cactus Court project represents an interesting expansion of Travis Scott’s relationship with Nike. Much of Scott’s footwear history with the company has centered around lifestyle and basketball-inspired silhouettes, including highly sought-after Air Jordan collaborations and his own signature footwear. This latest project brings his design language deeper into performance sports.

It also continues the growing crossover between professional tennis and streetwear. Tennis fashion has increasingly moved beyond traditional court apparel, with athletes becoming major figures in sneaker culture and fashion campaigns. Pairing Alcaraz with Travis Scott gives Nike a way to connect competitive tennis with younger audiences interested in music, sneakers and street style.

For Travis Scott, Cactus Court adds another chapter to one of the sneaker industry’s most recognizable artist partnerships. Instead of simply releasing another lifestyle sneaker, the collaboration places the Cactus Jack aesthetic directly onto one of tennis’ biggest stages.

With Alcaraz debuting the collection during the US Open and Travis Scott bringing his signature design elements to both lifestyle and performance footwear, Cactus Court shows Nike experimenting with a new intersection of hip-hop, sneaker culture and professional tennis.
