Tory Lanez is finding an unusual way to take his music on the road while remaining incarcerated. The rapper and singer has announced the “Not On ‘Tor’ Tour,” a multi-city series of listening experiences that will bring his music to fans across several cities this fall — without Lanez physically appearing or performing at the events.

The concept is being promoted as an official Tory Lanez listening party and experience, built around DJ sets, special guests, fan-favorite songs and material from his latest project. Organizers are emphasizing that Lanez himself will not be present at the venues, making the event closer to a traveling listening experience than a traditional concert tour.

The first announced stop is scheduled for September 25 in New York City at HK Hall. From there, the experience is expected to travel to Los Angeles on October 15, Washington, D.C. on October 22, New Orleans on November 12 and Pittsburgh on November 13. Montreal and Toronto have also been mentioned as future stops, although dates for those cities had not yet been confirmed at the time of the announcement.

The New York event is being advertised as a 21-and-over listening party featuring world-class DJs, special guests and music spanning Lanez’s catalog. Promotional materials say fans will hear his latest album alongside some of his biggest records and longtime fan favorites. The event listing specifically states that Tory Lanez will not appear or perform in person.

Lanez also teased official merchandise connected to the tour announcement. Promotional images reportedly included a hoodie featuring artwork from his latest album, Made You Think I Was Gone …But, suggesting that the tour experience will also serve as a way to promote his newest music and merchandise while he remains incarcerated.

The “Not On ‘Tor’ Tour” arrives while Lanez continues serving a 10-year prison sentence stemming from his conviction in connection with the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He was sentenced in 2023 after being convicted on three felony charges.

Despite his incarceration, Lanez has continued releasing music and maintaining a connection with his fanbase. HotNewHipHop notes that he has released material from his “Lost Tapes” series while behind bars, allowing previously recorded songs to reach listeners even as he remains unable to tour in the traditional sense.

The new event series appears to be designed around that same idea: keeping his music active and giving supporters an in-person experience without requiring Lanez himself to take the stage. Rather than functioning as a conventional concert, the tour will rely on DJs, guest appearances and curated music programming to create an atmosphere centered around his catalog.

The concept also stands out because of how directly it plays with Lanez’s current situation. The title “Not On ‘Tor’ Tour” makes it clear that he is technically not touring at all, even though the experience itself will move from city to city.

For now, some details remain unknown, including which special guests will appear, whether unreleased music will be previewed and how much each city’s event will differ from the others. What is confirmed is that Lanez will not be appearing or performing in person, and the events are being marketed as official listening experiences rather than standard live shows.

The unusual rollout gives Tory Lanez another way to remain active in music while incarcerated, turning a traditional tour concept into a traveling fan experience centered around his catalog, newest album and community of supporters.
