The Weeknd’s latest UK tour run turned into more than a major live music moment. The superstar singer helped raise more than $350,000 for the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen during a seven-show stretch in the United Kingdom.

The run included five sold-out concerts at Wembley Stadium in London, along with two earlier shows at Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Together, the seven concerts brought in more than 450,000 fans from nearly 150 countries, showing the global reach of The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

The charitable impact came through The Weeknd’s continued partnership with Global Citizen and the World Food Programme. Along with traditional ticket sales, Global Citizen gave fans another way to attend the shows by taking action on campaigns focused on fighting global poverty. Those fan actions helped turn the UK concerts into a fundraising effort with a larger purpose.

The Weeknd’s Wembley residency also became a major moment for London. His five-night run brought hundreds of thousands of people to the city, boosting tourism, hotels, restaurants, transportation, and local businesses around the stadium. London Mayor Sadiq Khan praised the concerts and said the city was proud to welcome The Weeknd for more shows than any other city in the world this year.

The fundraising effort connects to The Weeknd’s broader humanitarian work. In 2022, he launched the XO Humanitarian Fund with a $500,000 personal donation to support the United Nations World Food Programme’s mission of fighting hunger around the world. Since then, his touring platform has continued to connect live music with charitable giving.

The UK shows also added to the success of the After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which has become one of the biggest touring runs of The Weeknd’s career. The tour blends music from his After Hours and Dawn FM eras with major production, cinematic visuals, and stadium-level energy, making it one of the most ambitious live experiences in pop and R&B.

After wrapping the UK stretch, The Weeknd is set to continue the European leg with two sold-out shows at Croke Park in Dublin on August 22 and 23. From there, the tour is expected to move through major cities including Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon before heading to Asia.

The international run is currently scheduled to close on November 5 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With more dates still ahead, the tour’s impact could continue to grow both musically and philanthropically.

For The Weeknd, the UK run shows how a global tour can go beyond entertainment. By combining sold-out stadium shows with fundraising and fan activism, he used one of the biggest stages in music to support people facing hunger and poverty around the world.

The seven-show stretch proved that The Weeknd’s influence is not limited to streaming numbers, chart success, or packed stadiums. It also showed how his platform can create real-world impact while bringing fans together across countries, cultures, and communities.
