Nipsey Hussle’s children have reportedly received their inheritance from the late rapper’s estate, marking a major development in the years-long legal process surrounding his assets, family, and business legacy.
According to reports, Nipsey’s daughter Emani and his son Kross have now received their shares from the estate, which is said to be worth around $11 million. The exact amount each child received has reportedly been sealed, but both children were expected to receive 50 percent of the estate.
Nipsey, born Ermias Asghedom, left behind two children. His daughter Emani is from his previous relationship with Tanisha Foster, while his son Kross is from his relationship with actress Lauren London. Since Nipsey’s tragic death in 2019, his estate has remained a major topic of discussion, especially because of his business holdings, music catalog, and continued cultural impact.
The estate is reportedly being handled by Nipsey’s brother, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, who has played a key role in protecting and expanding Nipsey’s legacy. Blacc Sam has continued to help manage parts of the Marathon brand, which became one of Nipsey’s most recognizable business ventures before his passing.
Court documents reportedly show that the inheritance included both cash and additional assets. Those assets are said to include interest in Nipsey’s business ventures, including The Marathon Clothing brand. A 2012 Chevy Suburban was also reportedly listed among the estate’s property.
The inheritance update comes after years of legal issues involving Nipsey’s estate and family. One of the biggest disputes centered around Emani, her custody situation, and who would have control over her inheritance. Tanisha Foster, Emani’s mother, had been involved in a court battle with members of Nipsey’s family over custody and financial matters connected to the estate.
That situation reportedly reached a resolution in 2025, with the court deciding that Foster would share legal and physical custody with Nipsey’s family. The decision helped clear the way for the estate process to move forward and for Nipsey’s children to receive their shares.
Beyond the financial side, the estate represents a much larger part of Nipsey Hussle’s legacy. During his lifetime, Nipsey built a career that extended far beyond music. He was known for his independent mindset, ownership-focused business moves, community investment, and dedication to uplifting South Los Angeles.
His Marathon Clothing store became a symbol of entrepreneurship and self-determination, while his music encouraged fans to value discipline, persistence, and long-term growth. Even years after his death, Nipsey’s message continues to influence artists, entrepreneurs, and fans around the world.
The report also arrives as more Nipsey-related music appears to be on the way. Bino Rideaux has been preparing to release a joint project with Nipsey titled Prolific. The project is expected to arrive on August 14 and is set to include appearances from James Fauntleroy and Static Major. Several songs connected to the project have already been released, including Reckless, Sacrifices featuring James Fauntleroy, and All Summer featuring BH.
For Nipsey’s supporters, the estate update is another reminder of how much he built before his passing and how much of that legacy now lives on through his children. While the legal process took years, Emani and Kross are now reportedly receiving the benefits of the foundation their father created.
