Kodak Black just added another major achievement to his career, earning 42 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. The new plaques cover several albums and songs from across his catalog, showing how much staying power his music has had over the years.

According to Complex, the Florida rapper received the updated certifications on July 22, with records reaching Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum status. In the music industry, Gold means 500,000 certified units, while Platinum represents 1 million certified units sold or streamed.

Among the biggest updates, three of Kodak Black’s albums have now reached double platinum status. His projects Painting Pictures, Project Baby 2, and Dying to Live have each crossed the 2 million certified unit mark. These albums helped define major moments in Kodak’s career and featured some of the records that pushed him from a rising Florida rapper into a national name.

His 2022 album Back for Everything also received a major update, officially reaching platinum status. That project continued Kodak’s run after years of chart success and proved that his fanbase remained strong through different eras of his career.

Several of Kodak’s biggest singles also received new certifications. His breakout hit Tunnel Vision is now certified 9x platinum, making it one of the most successful records of his career. Super Gremlin and Transportin’ both reached 6x platinum, further showing the strength of his catalog beyond just one era.

Other songs, including Skrilla, Versatile, Don’t Wanna Breathe, and There He Go, were also certified platinum. These records highlight Kodak’s range, from street anthems and melodic pain music to the raw storytelling that has made him one of the most recognizable voices in modern hip-hop.

The large number of certifications is a reminder of Kodak Black’s impact on rap music over the past decade. Since breaking through, he has built a catalog filled with emotional records, street-driven hits, and viral moments that continue to connect with fans.

While Kodak has faced plenty of controversy throughout his career, his music continues to perform at a high level. These new RIAA certifications show that his fanbase remains loyal and that his songs are still being streamed, purchased, and revisited years after their release.

For Kodak Black, earning 42 new certifications is more than just another industry update. It is proof that his catalog has left a lasting mark and that his influence in hip-hop remains strong.
