Kanye West has reached another major milestone in his career, becoming the artist with the most songs certified Gold or Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The achievement comes after Ye received 68 new RIAA certifications, adding even more weight to one of the most successful catalogs in modern music. The new certifications include updated plaques for several multi-platinum records, first-time platinum songs, and new Gold-certified tracks.

According to reports, this latest update helped Kanye pass NBA YoungBoy, who was previously reported as the artist holding the record. While Kanye’s career has always been defined by major cultural impact, this new milestone shows that his music continues to perform at a high commercial level years after many of the songs were originally released.

One of the biggest highlights from the certification update is Heartless, which has now reached 14-times Platinum status. The 808s & Heartbreak single remains one of Kanye’s most important records, helping push hip-hop toward a more melodic and emotionally vulnerable sound. Its continued success proves how strongly the song still connects with listeners.

Several of Kanye’s classic albums also received major updates. Graduation is now certified eight-times Platinum, The College Dropout is certified six-times Platinum, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is certified five-times Platinum, and 808s & Heartbreak is certified four-times Platinum. These albums represent different eras of Kanye’s career, from his soulful early production to his stadium-sized anthems, experimental pop-rap, and emotionally driven sound.

The new certifications also include first-time platinum plaques for records such as Spaceship, Saint Pablo, Dark Fantasy, Hey Mama, New Slaves, and Only One. His Jesus Is King album was also listed among the new platinum certifications, showing that Kanye’s catalog continues to reach across different sounds, themes, and fan bases.

In addition to the platinum updates, several Kanye tracks earned new Gold certifications, including Send It Up, Say You Will, Roses, No Child Left Behind, Frank’s Track, and Two Words. These records may not all be his biggest radio hits, but they remain important pieces of his discography and continue to gain recognition over time.

The timing of this milestone comes as Kanye remains active musically and on stage. He has been hosting stadium shows in different parts of the world and recently released his album BULLY. He also has upcoming performances scheduled in Spain, Portugal, Kazakhstan, New Orleans, and Chicago, with the possibility of more shows being announced.

While awards and sales numbers do not fully measure an artist’s influence, Kanye’s latest RIAA achievement adds another layer to his legacy. His music has shaped hip-hop, fashion, production, live performance, and pop culture for more than two decades.

From The College Dropout to Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, and beyond, Kanye’s catalog has continued to create conversations and inspire new generations of artists. This new Gold and Platinum record shows that his music is not only culturally important but also commercially lasting.

For fans, the milestone is a reminder of Kanye West’s impact across multiple eras. Whether people focus on his production, his albums, his hit singles, or his influence on the sound of modern rap, Ye’s place in music history continues to grow.
